Physical Meditation®

The Physical Meditation® is a somatic educational practice based on easy-to-do movements and strategic mental exercises having the central goal of enhancing self awareness and proprioception of the practitioner.

By differentiating articulations, orienting the central nervous system in relation to space and to the magnetism of the Earth (also known as gravity), exploring multiple graduations of quality of movement and clarifying the three planes of motion with the clear aim of fine tuning and refining perception. Proportionally distributing the muscle tone and the self-image to the entire body.

One of the effects of the practice is to learn how to reach the full potential in a specific desired motor skill and another is to gain more choices in moving, thinking and sensing. Learning how to identify emotions and how they manifest in the body.

Opening space to a more pleasant and relaxed existence that with practice starts to become the way of experiencing life.

Adapting each session to the specific student, based on the way they are functioning and their history of life.

The Physical Meditation has been developing from my experience of almost two decades studying and practicing the Feldenkrais Method®, Orgonomy (Dr. Wilhelm Reich). And 30 years of experience as an Artist, Musician, Songwriter and Music Producer.

Since 2013 I have been studying the Feldenkrais Method with Larry Goldfarb, Ph.D. and working in different projects of his institution, Mind in Motion, Santa Cruz, California, USA. At this moment I'm attending the [TTT] - Threshold To Transformation advanced workshop and the [ATSO] - A Training Segment Online both taught by Larry Goldfarb via Zoom

In 2018, I have completed the Perry Method Practitioner Training and the Advanced Training with the co-creator of the method, Dr. Edie Perry in The Netherlands.

About the Perry Method®, here’s a quote from their official website: “The Perry Method was inspired and influenced by Moshe Feldenkrais (Feldenkrais Method), by Dr. Richard Bandler (co-creator of NLP and Bandler Technologies®), functional neurology (Dr. Carrick), and a wide range of techniques and principles from manual therapy forms, yoga, tai chi and other 60+ systems.”

Since 2001 I have been working with different directors and choreographers creating music and performing live on stage at Physical Theater, Contemporary Dance and Mime performances in Brazil and Europe. Having working in connection with the Mime School of the Academy of Theatre and Dance of the Amsterdam University of Arts - AHK.

At the moment I’m undergoing the Achology (Academy of Modern Applied Psychology) certified Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) Practitioner, and enrolled to the Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) at Master Practitioner level (NLPMp) both by Kain Ramsay. Also enrolled on the Jungian Archetype Diploma course from The Centre of Excellence, Wales, UK.

I had the honour to exchange correspondence via e-mail and meet the late Dr. José Ângelo Gaiarsa from 2007 to 2010. Dr. Gaiarsa was a Brazilian psychiatrist that dedicated more than 50 years of his life to treat and educate people about the connections of movement and mind, being a pioneer and a huge spreader and developer of Dr. Wilhelm Reich ideas in Brazil and in Portuguese language via books and educational T.V. shows where he would answer questions from the audience. He wrote the preface of the Brazilian edition of the Awareness Through Movement book by Moshe Feldenkrais.

In September 2016, I have completed the Geomancy course with Les Cross, Astrogem Geomancy, UK.

Lately I have been interested in the Healing is Voltage principles and the importance of detox and balanced nutrition from Dr. Jerry Tennant, MD, MD(H), PSc.D, being in contact with the Senergy Medical Group, Texas, USA. What brought me to research about the Biofield Tuning technique founded by Eileen Day McKusick, MA.

I have been graduated as a Bachelor in Laws by CEUT - Centro de Ensino Unificado de Teresina in 2001 in my hometown of Teresina, Piauí, Brazil.
